EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Joshua Livingston
As Executive Director of pureHOPE, Josh focuses on relationship building, strategic planning, vision casting, and expanding the message of pureHOPE. Josh joined the team in January 2020 after serving for years as a board member and champion of pureHOPE.
Josh felt called to ministry at the age of 13 and has been in and around professional ministry his entire life as his family has been an integral part of Central Church in Charlotte, NC for more than 40 years. Growing up in church gave him many opportunities for outreach, mission trips, and leadership. He attended Lee University to pursue this ministry calling,and there he captained the baseball team, majored in Broadcasting, and minored in Bible. He has served in some form of ministry ever since—from church planting to pastoring to leading worship. In addition to leading a nonprofit ministry in Africa, Josh has also worked as a business advisor for two financial institutions, and as a Donor Advisor for KLOVE/Air1 Radio Networks.
What brings Josh the most joy is his family. He has been married to his beautiful wife Kate for 20 years and they have an 19-year-old son (Parker) who attends Samford University, and a 15-year-old daughter (Merritt) who is in 10th grade.
Josh is an avid golfer who also plays a lot of tennis and pickleball with his family.
Jasper Hall, Jr.
SPIRITUAL ADVISORY & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Jasper Hall, Jr.
As the Spiritual Advisory (SA) and Operations Director, Jasper focuses on leading and growing the SA offering, management, and oversight of operations, and expanding the message of pureHOPE. Jasper first came to pureHOPE from the corporate world where he served several years as a board member and chairman.
In his time at pureHOPE, he has established the expansion and growth of the ministry into countries such as Africa, and Pakistan. Organizationally he has established and streamlined several of our internal processes so that we can be more focused on ministry. Before joining our team, he spent over 20 years in IT management and people development. He also has a strong ministry background in music and organizational leadership, serving and partnering with multiple churches throughout the Carolinas.
After Jasper graduated from Winthrop University, he married Sandy, moved to Charlotte, and started their family. Now over 30 years later their 3 adult children are married and serving the Lord. Jasper is a passionate leader, a man who loves and cares well for family and friends with a heart to see people know Jesus and find true joy and fulfillment.
Paola Canino
Creative Services & Projects Director
Paola Canino
Overseeing all visual aesthetics of the pureHOPE brand, Paola helps to create overall creative continuity for the ministry, as well as facilitates and manage logistics for special projects and events. After nearly 6 years as a graphic designer at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Paola joined the pureHOPE team summer of 2023. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from UNC Charlotte and has worked in both the ministry world, as well as the for-profit sector - serving in both creative and client service capacities - for the last 15+ years.
When she’s not designing, listening to music or trying out a new recipe, Paola loves spending time with her husband, Christian, and their two energetic boys, Julian and Sebastian. Also an avid fitness enthusiast, Paola loves sports and a little friendly competition, as she also has a background in group exercise instruction. She loves people and creating neat designs that have Kingdom impact.
