“Hebrew is interesting. Hebrew is such a different language. In the Hebrew it really looks more like, ‘no adultery.’ Just, no adultery.
And if this is a wedding ceremony… if God is a God who is not just King, not just Lord, not just Shepherd, but a passionate Lover, a Spouse, a Consort, a Partner with us, then this makes a lot of sense that the seventh commandment would be, ‘Hey, no adultery.’
