Around the World
pureHOPE

A world free may start in our own homes with our own families, but this summer was admittedly very special for our team, as we saw the impact of our ministry stretch across nations. Our President, Jasper Hall, just returned from that trip we told you about, overseas to Lomé, Togo in West Africa to share pureHOPE content and training at a conference for over 1,000 pastoral leaders representing 12 nations and tens of thousands individuals and families. Hear Jasper’s recap of his time in the capital city of Lomé, Togo:

“I cried almost nonstop from the surreality and joy of my experience representing pureHOPE and partnering with Pastor Elias Apetogbo of Guinos Foundation in West Africa. I introduced pureHOPE and connected with many pastors and leaders—from Togo, Ghana, Burkina Fasa, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Uganda!—setting the foundation for expanding resources and teaching beyond the United States. Pastor Elias has already begun translating Quest: Parenting in a Sexualized Culture into French and sharing content through radio broadcast. Everyone I met was hungry for our message, that purity is about our relationship with Jesus. Leaders were transparent about the sexual immorality all around them, even in their churches and schools. Through time together in fellowship and worship we locked arms acknowledging that we are stronger as a team, unified through the Bible, prayer and and pursuit of purity. It was exciting to see that no matter who we are or where we are in the world, we are all the same in regard to our need for a Savior and our need for one another. Going forward our team will begin a deep dive with pastors and leaders into the pure lifestyle of prayer, understanding, resolve, and engagement, and contextualize Quest with pastors and leaders to be utilized as a powerful resource to equip families to thrive in a sexualized culture.”

We’ll list those again: Togo, Ghana, Burkina Fasa, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Uganda! From one side of the globe to another, we’re looking toward a world free together.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. — Ephesians 4:4-6
